There are many factors to consider when promoting your business on the web. Times have changed and just having a website for your business no longer works in Googles search results. You need branding & trust.
Here are 3 tips to help you get started on the road to visibility on Google search results.
1. Create a Google Local Business Listing. This listing, (once verified) gives you a local maps listing for your area and a Google+ account. Here you upload images & video’s, create a profile and add links & posts. You can find circles & communities relevant to you, (there is a limit of 50 per day). The verification PIN can take a few weeks and once you have verified and set up you should add a Google button and link from your website. You can link your Facebook and Twitter accounts in your settings and profile page too.
2. Create a Facebook business page for your removal company. Here you can upload images & videos, add a profile, post links and promote your page with paid advertising from Facebook.
Once you have created your page you should add a “like” button and link from your website.
3. Create a Twitter account for your business. Here you can upload images, create a profile and add links. You can find other businesses relevant to you, “Follow” them and hope they follow you back. Once this has been created you then add a button and link from your website.
Each account gives you the option to promote and link your removal website, giving your website traffic and backlinks and important, brand trust with Google. You must keep all these accounts up to date with regular activity and most importantly interact with other people and businesses by sharing and commenting.
